So, you’ve been nominated!

Congratulations on your nomination!  It's a great endorsement of your work in early childhood education and care.

What happens next?

You should decide if you would like to proceed to the judging rounds and have the opportunity to be selected to win an award or not.  

  1. If not, there is nothing you need to do - you will receive a certificate at the end of April 2017.
  2. If you would like to proceed to judging you need to complete a "Nominee Submission".  This gives you the opportunity to tell the judges all about your work in your own words.

How do I access my Nominee Submission?

After 13th March you will receive an email inviting you to complete a submission. This email contains a link to your personalised nominee submission form along with a username and password.

  1. Click the "Nominee Submission" link then follow the onscreen instructions until you are asked to login.
  2. Your Username should appear in the Username box. Check it against the Username in your email to make sure it's the same.
  3. If it's different, it may be that someone else at your service is already logged in - ask them to logout. Then you will need to re-click your "Nominee Form" link.
  4. In the Password box, type your password exactly as it appears in your email (or copy and paste it).  Select enter.
  5. Select the category in which you were nominated.
  6. The Submission form will appear.  You can complete the whole form in one session if you like. OR you can do part of it, save it and go back to complete it later.

How do I complete a Nominee Submission?

To do part of the Nominee Submission form, save it and return later

  1. Complete all the sections that have a *.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the form; under "Select form status" click "save and finish later".
  3. Click the "Submit" button.
  4. Logout
  5. You'll receive an email confirming your saved Submission and explaining how to return to it.

To return to your saved Nominee Submission form

  1. When you are ready to return to your submission, click the link in your email (as per point 5 above) and login with the username and password provided (they should be the same username and password you used when you started the form).
  2. Select the category of your nomination.
  3. Your saved submission form will appear.
  4. You can save and return to your form as many times as you like until you are ready to complete it.

To complete your Nominee Submission form

  1. When you are ready to complete your submission, click the link in your email and login with the username and password provided.
  2. Complete every section of the form except those marked 'optional' - you can choose whether or not to complete the optional sections.
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the form; under "Select form status" select "complete".
  4. Click the "Submit" button.
  5. Logout
  6. You will not be able to edit your form once you have completed it.
  7. You will receive an email containing all details you entered in your form so you have a record of it.
