Judging of the Australian Family Early Education and Care Awards is a rigorous process designed to ensure the most deserving are honoured.

Judging Panel

The judging panel includes representatives of peak children's services associations and other impartial experts in early childhood development.

Nominee Submissions

All nominees are invited to enter a Nominee Submission which includes a personal profile and answers to the judging criteria questions.

The Early Education and Care Awards strongly support continuous improvement. We are proud to offer winners professional development and training grants.

All Nominees

Every eligible individual and service nominated in the 2018 Australian Early Education and Care Awards will receive a special certificate acknowledging the outstanding work they perform in child care and the special place that they hold in the hearts of the children they care for and their families.

To ensure your nominee receives a certificate please include their full name and correct postal address on the nomination form. We cannot guarantee certificates will be received by the nominee if this personal information is incorrect or incomplete.

State Winners

  • Three day Awards Conference and Celebration including airfares, airport transfers, 2 night's five star accommodation including breakfast, professional development session, cocktail reception, gala awards ceremony and day spa treatment.
  • $500 in resources from Educational Experience.
  • Outdoor display banner courtesy of Australian Family.

National Winners

  • All prizes as described above, plus:
  • $4,000 training grant from RTO Community Early Learning Australia
  • $5,000 Professional Development grant with thanks to Educational Experience and Chemists' Own.
  • $250 in resources from Educational Experience.
